Abstract

Compensation on performance through job satisfaction as a mediating variable. The method used in this study is a survey method with descriptive and quantitative analysis. This research was conducted on employees of the Food Security and Agriculture Office of Kuningan Regency. Samples were taken as many as 102 employees using saturated samples. The data collection technique uses questionnaires with interval scales. The research data was processed using the SPSS application version 21. The results showed that partial compensation had a positive and significant effect on performance, partial compensation had a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, partial job satisfaction had a positive and significant effect on performance. Mediation analysis shows that compensation has a positive and significant effect on performance. This suggests that job satisfaction can mediate compensation for employee performance.
